Office Maximizing
By: The Norman Transcript
Work
continues on a 10,400-square-foot addition to Office Max, formerly Boise
Cascade, a call center in the Norman Business Park. The call center, built in
2000, now has 230 employees. The company says another 140 to 160 salespeople
will be added when the expansion is completed in October. A spokesperson said
Boise Cascade acquired Office Max in late 2003 and assumed the Office Max name
in mid-2004 because of the recognition associated with Office Max retail centers
throughout the country. General contractor for the project is Clayco, of St.
Louis. The architect is Forum Studio, also of St. Louis. A Norman city building
permit indicates the project cost is $1.3 million.
